CHEMICAL SKIN PEEL

Our skin naturally sheds dead cells approximately every 28 days, to be replaced with new healthy cells. As we age this cell turnover naturally slows down a build-up which can be correlated to a number of different skin problems, most common issues; un-even skin tone, and dull skin.

A chemical peel is used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin, it is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved.
Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin. Resulting wound healing processes begin to regenerate new tissues. The dead skin eventually peels off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother, clearer, and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Intervals between sessions depends on skin condition after each treatment, during course treatments peels should be done every 3-6 weeks.

Overexposure to exfoliates—such as alpha hydroxyl, salicylic, glycolic and lactic acids used in chemical peels—causes inflammatory responses in the skin, including redness and skin damage. Once you reach this point, it is very difficult to get your skin back to normal

Yes, you will notice a visible improvement in your skin after one peel, but best results are obtained with multiple treatments over time. In the same process it takes time for skin damage to accumulate, the skin will need time to also reverse those damages.
