Massage is the manipulation of the body’s soft tissues. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. Ideally, once every week or two is the typical timing for keeping your body muscle tissue pliable and in good shape. If you feel you are experiencing chronic pain or have a special issue to address, you may be advised to come weekly (or even twice a week) until the pain has eradicated.
