Derma-plan is a manual exfoliation which clears the skin of dead skin cells as well as removing the light hairs on the face also known as Vellus hair, (nicked name – peach fuzz).
Derma-plan facial allows the skin to attract or soak in peels, facials,
topical products serums so much topical products are easily absorbed.
This is a great way to resolving skin issues such as discolouration, hyperpigmentation, texted skin, newly fine lines.
What happens during a Derma-plane session?
Dermaplaning doesn’t require general anaesthesia, however a AHA product may be applied for an extract boost of skin exfoliation.
While administrating a Derma-plane facial, a special instrument called a dermatome to remove hair and skin cells. The tool looks a bit like an electric razor. The dermatome has a small blade that moves back and forth across your skin. It doesn’t make cuts in your skin, but gently shaves off the top layers of skin.
Afterward, a soothing ointment is applied to your skin to reduce redness, swelling or irritation, followed my SPF 50 factor for skin protection.
The treatment can last anywhere from 45 mins to an hour – depending on the number of add-ons during the treatment. The length of the procedure depends on the size of the area that is being treatment.
What happens after dermaplaning?
Your skin will immediately become brightly radiant, skin texture will feel silky smooth. The next few days, you will see your skins glow will continues to be brighter from it was initially done. You will be able to wear Make up, continue on with your Am and Pm skin regime as usual.
